When you contact Atlas through this website, we may collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, development details and the content of your enquiry.

How we use enquiry information

We use enquiry information to respond to you, assess whether our services may be suitable and maintain an appropriate business record of communications.

Lawful basis for enquiries

Depending on the circumstances, processing may be necessary for steps taken at your request before entering into a contract or for our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and operating our services.

Website analytics

If you select Accept analytics, Atlas uses Google Analytics 4 to help us understand how visitors use the website and assess website performance. Analytics may process information such as page and session activity, approximate geographic information and browser or device information. For UK traffic, Google states that IP addresses are used to derive coarse geographic information and are discarded before being logged or stored by Google Analytics.

Our Analytics implementation is designed not to send your name, email address, telephone number, enquiry message, postal address or other directly identifying enquiry information to Google Analytics. Where a successful website enquiry is measured, Atlas sends only a non-identifying enquiry category such as Right to Manage, changing managing agent or general enquiry. Email-link clicks may also be counted without sending the email address as an Analytics event parameter.

Google Analytics is only authorised through our website after you choose Accept analytics. Where Analytics involves the processing of personal data, we rely on your consent for that Analytics processing. You may withdraw that choice at any time through the Cookie settings link.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support our website hosting and email, and, where you have consented to Analytics, by Google in providing Google Analytics. Information may also be shared with professional advisers where necessary and subject to appropriate safeguards. Website enquiries are initially handled by email and are not automatically sent to a CRM. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected and applicable legal or business-record requirements. Analytics data is subject to the retention settings configured for our Google Analytics property.

Your rights

UK data-protection law provides rights in relation to personal data, which can include access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability depending on the circumstances. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
